IMPORTANT COLLEGE RULES

 

  1. The institution stands for discipline, moral conduct, and character worthy of future citizens of India.

  2. Students will not be allowed to enter the college campus unless they come in proper and complete uniform and arrive on time.

  3. On their way to and from the college, students are expected to behave in a good manner.

  4. All students are required to attend 100% of classes for their own benefit. Those attending less than 75% of classes will be considered Non-Collegiate, and those attending less than 60% of classes will be considered Dis-Collegiate. According to the rules of the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council, non-collegiate students will be charged a fine to become regular, and dis-collegiate students will not be allowed to sit for the final examinations of H.S.-I and H.S.-II.

  5. This college is only for studious and laborious students; therefore, all class tests and examinations conducted by the college, including final selection tests, are compulsory. Otherwise, students will not be allowed to fill up the forms for the Council’s final examination.

  6. Carrying mobile phones to the college by students is strictly prohibited. If found, the handset will be seized immediately and will not be returned as long as the student continues his/her studies in this college.

  7. Motorcycles are not allowed to be brought by students during college hours. Scooters, scooties, etc., may be brought.

  8. Students habituated to Tiranga, Gutkha, Rajanigandha, Pan, etc., should not seek admission to this college. If found spitting inside the college campus after chewing these harmful products, disciplinary action may be taken.

  9. The college authority and the Governing Body have full rights to take disciplinary action against any student involved in any kind of unsocial activity or for dishonoring college rules.

  10. The college authority cannot be held responsible for the activities of students residing in any private hostel or mess.

  11. College library books must be returned before the final examinations of H.S.-I and H.S.-II.

  12. Admission receipts and college fee receipts should be kept carefully, as duplicate copies are not issued by the college.

  13. Admission fees are not refundable.

  14. Only pure black sweaters are allowed as part of the uniform during the winter season.

  15. Skirts shorter than knee length are not allowed for girls.
